Dana (Sloan) Scanlon wrote: "After 10 years of working on the marketing of French trade shows in the US, and managing projects such as USA Pavilions at the Paris Air Show, in 2007, a complete transition into residential real estate. Specialty: assisting French-speaking clients in their relocation to the Washington DC metro area. Married, two teenage daughters (Lycee Rochambeau in Bethesda), one horse and a dog! I have managed an occasional trip to New York for business over the years -- sorry to have missed the reunion at the Yates home. Anyone from class of '73 in the DC area?"

Martha Solinger wrote: "I am recently divorced with a 12 year old son and live just outside of New York. I have been at Lehman Brothers for nearly 20 years and run the Litigation area of the Law Department there. We love to travel and are going on safari in Africa this summer."

● "Jean-Louis Monfraix bought his first 35mm camera while touring as lead guitarist for the "East Coast Brass" in 1978 and has been photographing his "view of life" ever since. Jean-Louis was born in Lavaur, France, and raised in New York City, where he attended the Lycée Français de New York. His passion for photographing his "view of life" grew out of a boyhood fascination with the beauty of the natural world and the diversity of life on Earth. As a child, he could be seen running around the New York Botanical Gardens with a butterfly net, collecting specimens for his insect collection (and bee stings for his immune system). The name of Jean-Louis' photography business pays homage to his lifelong hero, the famous naturalist Charles Darwin, by quoting from the last sentence of the 1859 classic "On the Origin of Species", in which Darwin wrote: "There is grandeur in this view of life, ...". Indeed, Jean-Louis is a naturalist and biologist himself. He holds a Master's Degree in Zoology from the University of Florida and has taught biology as an adjunct professor at the American University in Washington, D.C., and at Santa Fe Community College in Gainesville, Florida. Jean-Louis' photographs have appeared on the covers of publications for several multi-organizational national conferences…………" (From: Eastern Market.Net; http://www.easternmarket.net/index.php?id=fe&fe=56)

Christopher Yates wrote: "It is always good to read of the Class of 73 goings on. And the reunion at my childhood home on May 31st was especially heartwarming for me. It was almost a fluke that I was able to attend mid week, since I live in the metropolitan Boston area. My New York ties continue to run deep, and I do manage an occasional jaunt into the Big Apple. I hope to hear from more of you in the months and years ahead."

● From Dominique (Asper) Reginato: "After more then 27 years of teaching at the international school of Geneva as a flute teacher, I've decided to take an early retirement. I travel a lot with my husband ( Birmanie, Vietnam, Bali, Seychelles, Sri lanka, etc.) My eldest son Julien is 22 and is studying theater, my youngest son Raphael is 18 and is in a business school. We have a boat on the lake here in Geneva and we sail quite a bit. Life here in Switzerland is quite enjoyable and we feel very priviledged to live in such a nice environment. Love to have news from old class mates who may remember me."

Odile (Roger) Bongi says that she would love to hear from any of her classmates who remember her under her maiden name of Odile Roger, and also asks if anyone knows the whereabouts of Astrid Radiguet.

Nicole Gotthelf wrote: "I am now at the Center for Neighborhood Technology -- www.cnt.org. CNT works on sustainable urban issues and we are housed in the 13th LEED certified platinum building in the country."

Jonathan Gregg wrote: "I have been living in NYC since 1981, working mostly as a freelance magazine editor and musician. My first self-produced CD got three and a half stars in Rolling Stone, along with other very nice reviews, back in '92; since then I have taken up the pedal steel guitar and gig frequently in NY. I am married for the second time, no kids, spend a lot of time in Connecticut with my wife, go back and forth between there and my place in NYC.
I don't stay in touch with my old classmates much, but not by choice. I would love to hear from my friends Debbie Lewis, Michel Amiel, Dana Sloan, Louis Foy, Anne Marie Backer, Sophie Gorek, Charles Masson, and many others.
Reading the list of the class of '73 I was amazed at how clearly I remembered everyone. I loved the Lycee, although by the time I left, it was time to go, and I would probably not have lasted the whole run. What a great time to have been a kid in New York."

(My sister) Fabienne Mezei lives in Mill Valley (Marin County), CA, no husband, no children. I live in Katonah, in upper Westchester. I have two children, Katie who will be 15 in January and Eric who will be 13 next week. I am divorced. I have six pets, 3 dogs and 3 cats! I 've been living in Geneva Switzerland for the past 30 years, I'm married, teaching music, and I have two boys also: Julien 17 and Raphael 14. Debbie (Lewis) Sutherland writes: «To this day, I feel that I share a bond with anyone who went to the Lycée when I did. I did not have an easy time there, and yet I think back to those days with a great deal of fondness for many of my fellow classmates. However, I've got to admit that part of my goal as a teacher is to NOT do some of the things teachers did to me. I'd particularly like to know what happened to Dana and Bambi Sloan, Jonathan Gregg, Dinah Louda, Sophie Gorek, Virginia Cox, Diane Ansberry, and Scott Segal among others.»
